What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planning/Accounting Assistant position at Talis Group, Inc.?
Talis Group’s client is a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge electrical products – and they are expanding their team. They are looking to hire a Production Planner / Accounting Assistant to support both the customer demand planning and accounting operations. This role will be split between managing the customer orders & assisting the Controller with daily accounting tasks. This is a full-time, direct hire role with a salary range of $55-$60k, plus full benefits, 401(k) with a match, and paid time off. This will be working 8 hours daily, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility.

Highlighted Duties :
- Data entry of customer forecasts & purchase orders into the MRP system.
- Coordinate with manufacturing & materials to meet schedules.
- Handle AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, reconciliations & bank deposits.
- Maintain inventory tracking & support audits.
- Assist purchasing with vendor follow-ups.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
