Talis Group’s client is a fully integrated sheet metal fabricator providing OEM parts and assemblies. This company is looking to hire a Production / Design Engineer to oversee new product design through production and drive continuous improvement activities through current products. Company offers full benefit packaging including 401K. M-F
Strong salary range of $85-$95k plus bonus opportunity.
HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES
- Responsible for supporting the team in delivering high quality products, meeting customer delivery expectations and improving manufacturing processes.
- Position will develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing processes
- Edit customer’s 3D component designs for manufacturability
- Design and detail parts, assemblies and fixtures
- Create 2D shop drawings and Bill of Materials
- Program laser for new products and components
- Lead projects to improve production efficiency and quality
- Work with the sales team on customer design improvements
