Energy Data Analyst
Our client is a leading renewable energy producer, with over 100 years in the energy market.
Energy Data Analyst responsibilities;
- The core responsibility of an Energy Data Analyst is to analyze assets, trading positions, and strategies for portfolio optimization.
- A successful Trading Analyst will achieve the core mission while optimizing capacity and storage assets, reducing commodity price risk, and working closely with power traders
- Use BI tools to track asset performance, including PPA revenue, basis exposure, forward pricing.
- Work closely with the Power Trading desk.
Energy Data Analyst experience required;
- Understanding of ISO rules and regulations, with a strong understanding of data analytics
- Financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment within the energy sector.
- Collaborate with power trading teams to develop daily scheduling strategies which will optimize transportation capacity while meeting retail and wholesale forecasts
- Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
