Power Trader
Our client is a leading renewable energy producer, with over 100 years in the energy market.
Power Trader responsibilities;
- The core responsibility of a Power Trader is to manage the physical supplies of our client
- Optimizing capacity and storage assets, reducing commodity price risk, and working closely with power traders
- Responsible for implementing a large budget of resources serving residential and industrial customers
- Trades Power requirements necessary to meet the demand of client’s customer base
Power Trader experience requried;
- Understanding of ISO rules and regulations, with a strong understanding of Quantitative Analytics
- Transacts in forward, day-ahead, and real-time markets, interacting with bilateral counterparties and electronic trading platforms
- Products transacted include spot, forwards, index, and options
- Collaborate with power trading teams to develop daily scheduling strategies that will optimize transportation capacity while meeting retail and wholesale forecasts
Salary : $160,000 - $220,000
