Role Overview:
We're seeking an accomplished Business Operations & Finance Lead to oversee the financial operations of a growing solar asset portfolio. This strategic role bridges asset management, operations & maintenance, and finance functions to ensure optimal portfolio performance and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive financial strategy and oversight for utility-scale solar asset portfolio
- Partner with Asset Management to optimize operational performance through detailed financial analysis
- Lead monthly/annual closing processes including complex journal entries and account reconciliations
- Develop sophisticated budget-to-actual analysis frameworks and variance reporting
- Design and implement project finance processes for assets transitioning from construction to operations
- Manage treasury relationships for debt servicing, cash management, and distribution planning
- Provide strategic leadership to business analysts and coordinate cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of progressive experience in renewable energy finance/accounting
- Proven track record in utility-scale solar asset management
- Advanced financial modeling and analysis capabilities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience
