Our client, an industry leading environmental consultancy, is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to support a growing practice in air permitting, compliance, and emissions analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple industries, including energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage air quality projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, team coordination, and client interactions.
- Serve as a technical resource for air permitting, emissions calculations, regulatory compliance, and environmental reporting.
- Prepare regulatory filings, including permit applications, emissions inventories, and compliance reports.
- Review air dispersion modeling analyses and ensure alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Develop safety plans and assess potential project hazards.
- Collaborate with internal teams across multiple locations to execute air quality projects.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the air quality practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, environmental, or mechanical preferred), environmental science, atmospheric science, or a related field.
- Consulting experience in air quality-related work, such as permitting, dispersion modeling, compliance reporting, or emissions inventories.
- Strong understanding of air quality regulations, including GHG, Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, LAER, NSPS, and MACT.
- Experience managing projects, including proposals, budgeting, invoicing, and quality control.
- Proven ability to interface with regulatory agencies and industry clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification.
- Consulting experience in power generation, oil and gas, or industrial sectors.
- Experience conducting air quality assessments for environmental impact analyses.
- Background in noise impact assessments and related compliance work.
