The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. You'll be part of a well-established practice working on high-impact projects such as wet weather remediation programs, water and wastewater treatment, sewer collection, potable water distribution, storage, and pumping station projects along the East Coast.
What You'll Do:
As a key member of our team, you’ll contribute to:
· Innovative Design & Engineering: Prepare construction documents, perform calculations, write specifications, and analyze reports for cutting-edge water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution, and wastewater collection systems.
· Complex Problem Solving: Apply your expertise in evaluating, selecting, and modifying standard engineering techniques to meet project needs.
· Owner Representation: Lead the coordination of inspections, review and respond to shop drawings, and manage startup, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless project development from inception to completion.
· Project Leadership: Conduct design development sessions and collaborate on contract documents to drive project success.
What We're Looking For:
· A Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master degree preferred.
· 5 years of experience in designing and implementing water/wastewater and municipal projects
· A Professional Engineer (PE) license
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant civil engineering software
· Strong project engineering and project management experience
· Excellent leadership, communication, and technical writing skills
