F.C. Tucker Co. is seeking a versatile Front End Developer to oversee and enhance our custom built website and other web applications, focusing on ease of use and functionality for our users in order to help everyone find a place to call home.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the content, implementation, maintenance, improvement, deployment, and support of the company websites and other web applications.
- Design, develop, and deploy visually appealing improvements and features to improve functionality and responsiveness
- Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics, using data to drive decisions on website improvements and enhancements.
- Recommend and implement strategies for system-wide improvements, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with various teams to maintain content accuracy, integrate third-party applications and ensure the website reflects our brand and meets our operational needs.
- Ensure the website complies with all legal and organizational standards, focusing on privacy, data protection, and financial regulations.
- Design and update web pages and templates to ensure optimal functionality and responsiveness across various devices, keeping up with the latest web standards and technologies.
- Implement user-centric UI/UX design principles to optimize user experience, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with back-end (third-party) developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative web solutions.
- Stay current on the latest web development and design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and implement improvements to optimize website performance and user satisfaction.
- Utilize the most recent SEO data and trends to ensure the company website maintains high visibility.

This job might be for you if you have a…
- Demonstrated history of designing and/or developing fully functioning websites and web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Design or other related field with 3 or more years of relevant work experience. *Combination of college experience and/or relevant and proven work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
- High level expertise in Web Development: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other scripting languages.
Experience that would be nice but not necessary:
- Advanced knowledge of the latest principles and trends in SEO
- Multimedia content creation
SCHEDULED HOURS: This is an in-office position and the standard scheduled is 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday; 37.5 hours per week.
Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000 annually
