- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Maintain highest safety standards at work and to ensure an incident free workplace.
- Identify at risk behavior and unsafe work conditions.
- Educate employees and create a Safety Mind-set.
- Follow up and monitor to ensure that targets are achieved. Re-prioritize tasks to take account for changing operating conditions and report deviations back to the respective department Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensure that assigned tasks are completed within given deadlines and report completion or request extension of deadline with reason for delay.
- Ensure that an accurate daily report is produced for the Inventory team highlighting number of bags consumed per batch using data supplied by the throughput of rework pallets.
- Verify every pallet has its correct identification.
- Carry out a daily audit of partials to prevent replication.
- Communicate closely with the Inventory team with regards to any anomalies.
- Verify that all members of the rework team follow scanning process to the fullest when moving pallets.
- Ensure that housekeeping is always to the highest standard.
- Ensure quality and quantity of executed work is as defined.
- Assist in development and ensure abidance to SOP’s and safety instructions.
- Supervise and ensure safe operations.
- All equipment needs to be efficiently utilized and well maintained.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns / grievances to resolve or escalate. Escalate to Site/Operations Manager or HR if necessary.
- Preparing and presenting performance / activity monitoring reports to the respective Manager.
- Ensure that all Department KPIs are met.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
- At least 5 years’ experience in comparable role in Logistics.
- Experience in dedicated onsite logistics (preferable).
- Ideally, experience in petrochemical industry.
- Strong Leadership skills essential.
- Computer literate, especially in MS-Office, SAP a plus.
