This position is full-time and in-house. Applicants must be able to work onsite with our team in our Fort Walton Beach, Florida office.

TalkingParents is a leading software company that provides critical communication solutions for co-parents. Our platform enables separated or divorced parents to maintain secure, documented communication while creating court-admissible records. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our team.

What will you do?

Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project participants
Organize your team and work with the Product Owner to quickly remove any road blocks preventing forward momentum
Be a process evangelist and coach team members using Agile Principles to help the team mature in the agile process
Utilize appropriate tools, metrics and techniques to successfully guide the team's progress against the Sprint Plan
Alert and involve appropriate stake holders, when necessary
Guide and coach team on how to best use Agile / Scrum practices and values to deliver high-quality software
Use iteration management to deliver demoable results every sprint
Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum process
As the backlog is refined work with your team to assign story points to work items based on the items complexity - breaking down overly complex items

How will you make an impact?

Demonstrate the ability to conduct agile ceremonies including daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives

You shield your team from outside distractions and interferences

You build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on consistently improving and problem-solving

Manage, publish, and communicate information radiators and relevant metrics to the team on progress against the teams currently assigned project

What qualifications do I need?

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications preferred

Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment

Proficiency with ClickUp is preferred
