JOB TITLE: Anticipated Child Nutrition Worker
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Experience in school food services preferred.
3. Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama
statutes and State Board of Education regulations.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Child Nutrition Program Manager
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the system’s approved compensation plan.
Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Works in food preparation, cleaning, serving, storage and facility maintenance. May be assigned cashier and/or clerical duties.
2. Works under supervision of CNP manager. Follows work schedule and performs all duties assigned by manager.
3. Follows CNP and other Talladega City School Board policies in professional growth and training.
4. Shows interest in professional growth and training.
5. Demonstrates competency in performance of job.
6. Produces satisfactory work on job tasks in a reasonable time.
7. Has satisfactory relationship with students, faculty and co-workers.
8. Is physically and mentally capable of performing all jobs normally assigned to a CNP employee.
9. Maintains cleanliness in work stations. Cooperates with manager in supporting local and state public health laws and standards.
10. Learns to use all equipment properly.
11. Exhibits personal grooming and dress appropriate for food service.
12. Is regular and punctual in attendance.
13. Maintains confidentiality of any Board of Education related business.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
