Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include teaching Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, Introductory biology for majors and non majors as well as other courses in the biology curriculum
- Teaching responsibility to include innovative use of technology and student engagement in the classroom
- Other responsibilities include student academic advisement, maintaining office hours and service to the college
- Actively serve on college committees and student organizations
- Meet established deadlines
- Other duties as assigned by the Chair, Dean, or Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs
- Preferred Ph.D. in Biology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution, with at least 18 graduate hours in biology
- Successful teaching experience at the college level
- Should have documented performance in teaching, scholarship and service with an ability to work independently and as a team member. A commitment to student engagement and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
