What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Tech position at Talladega Health and Rehab?
General Purpose
To keep the building in a clean and well maintained condition.
To perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning the floors, stripping and waxing the floors, and shampooing the carpets.
Qualificaitons
- Must be experience in the maintenance of all floor finishes
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the stripping and refinishing of floor tiles
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read and follow the mixing instructions of chemicals
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the facility
Tasks
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
- Strip, seal, finish and polish floors
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Follow the procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to the floors
- Mix water and detergents or chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions to specifications
- Steam clean or shampoo carpets
- Notify the supervisor concerning the need for supplies and or equipment
