This position is Baylor every weekend with a weekday for full-time and just Saturday and Sunday for part time. Great weekend incentive pay is offered. If you're looking for additional hours we also have schedules with built in overtime and job share opportunities. We offer very competitive pay with a recent pay adjustment for all nurses. Weekend incentive pay is also offered in addition to the recent pay adjustment.

Summary

As an RN/LPN for Baylor Nights, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment. Reporting to the Nursing Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include patient assessment, IV insertion, and catheterization, ensuring optimal health outcomes. Your premium skills in critical care and familiarity with EHR systems like Epic and Cerner will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care. Additionally, your relevant experience in long-term care and health coaching will support our mission of promoting patient well-being. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring adherence to basic life support protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in critical care situations and manage airway as needed, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license
• Proficient in patient care and assessment
• Experience with catheterization and IV insertion
• Knowledge of EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
• Basic life support certification
• Familiarity with long-term care and assisted living environments
• Critical care experience and airway management skills are a plus
• Ability to perform tube feeding and specimen collection/processing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $39.00 per hour
