What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at TALLAHASSEE IWC LLC?
Island Wing Company is looking for an experienced assistant manager in a high volume full-service restaurant (QSR's and Fast Casuals don't count). The position will require you to be very outgoing as you will deal with employees and customers on a variety of issues. In order to qualify, you must have at least 2 years of steady employment at a full-service restaurant that has done high volume in sales.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Oversee restaurant FOH/BOH staff
- Ensuring high quality of guest's experience
- Cash handling and excel spreadsheet knowledge
- Understanding of analyzing food and labor cost strategies
- Coordinate vendor transactions
- Working alongside staff in key areas that may need additional assistance
Job Brief:
Your job will be to help ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. There may be some assigned special duties to support specific functions of the restaurant. You must be familiar with all aspects of the restaurant business and have a solid understanding of what makes a great customer experience. You should be available to work all operating hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating cost, boost employee retention, and deliver unparalleled hospitality to our/your guest.
