Responsibilities
The Child Care Provider provides a safe and loving environment for children which fosters positive self-concepts. Responsible for providing day-to-day communication with parents, co-workers and supervisors.
Reports:
Director/Child Care Center and the Child Care Assistant Director
Supervises:
None
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma/GED and 45 hour FL Department of Children and Families Introductory Child Care Training course, including passing the competency examination
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
Required Experience:
- Minimum: One (1) year of job-related experience
- Preferred: Three (3) years of job-related experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
