Full-time opportunity available for a CMA to provide clinical support, working collaboratively with staff to facilitate patient care and efficiency. Position works under the direct supervision of a physician specializing in Interventional Pain Management, and requires strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, strong and effective communication skills, and excellent computer skills to be able to work with EMR system. Follow-up on calls, imaging, scheduling and voicemails; incoming calls; and extra overflow to help clinic run smoothly and efficiently. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required and must be able to work collaboratively as a team member to provide high quality treatment and efficient service to patients.
Must be a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant. Prior relevant work experience in a medical office, supporting surgeons, physicians or other allied health professionals preferred.
Schedule is Monday – Friday, full-time.
Position is in Panama City, Florida.
