Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. This role involves delivering dynamic lessons, using technology, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and providing ongoing support and feedback to ensure student success. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance the educational experience and contribute to the overall development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that align with state standards and meet students' individual needs.
- Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide timely feedback.
- Supervise students during class activities, transitions, and other designated periods.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the instructional approach and foster a positive school culture.
- Stay current with educational research and practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certification for elementary education (K-5) or eligibility to obtain certification through Florida-approved routes.
- At least three years of teaching experience, with a strong understanding of child development and curriculum design.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to support student learning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
