HIRING SALARY: $12.00 per hour.
HOURS: 20 hours per week; hours may vary

MAJOR FUCTION: Under the supervision of the Science Laboratory Manager, and along with other members of the science lab team, you will set up and dismantle freshman and sophomore labs in the following disciplines - Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth Science, Microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology. This may include moving and setting up equipment, making solutions, culturing bacteria, cleaning glassware etc. in accordance with our lab manuals and safe laboratory practice. Previous lab experience preferred (e.g. successful completion of a lab class, or prior work in a lab), but not necessary. Training and supervision are provided.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Enrolled at college level or beyond. Successful completion of laboratory classes or laboratory experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Attention to detail, good communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking, algebra, willingness to learn
