Regional Coordinator

What You’ll Do
The Regional Coordinator works within the Office of Prevention Services. The position serves in an assigned county, representing the cities of Gainesville, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Tallahassee or West Palm Beach.

The position coordinates and communicates with the Office of Prevention Services management and stakeholders on concerns related to delinquency prevention and assists, when necessary, in carrying out duties and responsibilities of other Prevention Services activities. This position requires a flexible work schedule due to some weekend and after-hours (evening) work.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:
- Provides Prevention Services to youth and community events. Develops and maintains effective partnerships and affiliations with local community organizations. Routinely coordinates and communicates with other Delinquency Prevention Specialists on issues and concerns within their Circuits.
- Educates community stakeholders on delinquency prevention programming, to include researching policies, and plans. Coordinates and participates in community outreach and engagement activities. Coordinates and/or facilitates training.
- 3Performs routine visits to contracted Prevention programs. Provides technical assistance as needed to contracted providers, to ensure compliance with contracted terms and conditions. Provides written summary of input and feedback with contracted providers.
- Drafts quarterly and monthly reports and submits on a timely basis. Evaluates data from outcome measures and requirements and makes recommendations to management. Conducts annual property inventory.
- Coordinates and communicates with Office of Prevention Services management and stakeholders on concerns related to delinquency prevention. Assists, when necessary, in carrying out duties and responsibilities of other Prevention Services activities.

- A high school diploma or its equivalent and five years’ related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required experience.
