The EEG Technologist is responsible for performing routine electroencephalograms (EEGs) on patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key duties include: Conducting EEGs following ASET guidelines. Measuring and applying electrodes for adult and pediatric patients. Recording and analyzing EEG waveforms and patterns. Entering and preparing raw EEG data for physician review. Editing 24-hour EEG data. Ensuring appropriate patient and family interaction. Maintaining equipment, stocking acquisition stations, and documenting malfunctions. Following hospital and department policies and procedures. Qualifications: Registered EEG Technologist certification. Minimum one year of EEG experience. BLS/CPR certification. Strong computer, communication, and critical thinking skills. Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
