The Radiologic Technologist- MRI is responsible for performing radiographic examinations under the supervision of departmental radiologists. Key duties include: Greeting patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring proper positioning for imaging. Setting appropriate exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographs. Practicing radiation safety to minimize patient exposure. Operating imaging equipment efficiently and reporting any malfunctions. Processing films and inputting data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing. Following department protocols and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual. Assisting referring physicians and radiologists by providing accurate imaging studies. Qualifications: A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. NYS License/Registration as a Radiologic Technologist. Minimum one year of CT/MRI experience.
