We are seeking a Customer Service Agent to join our team! In this role the Customer Service Agent will interact professionally with customers when they have questions or concerns. The customer service agent will provide product information, receive customer orders, and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of firearms, the firearms industry, and must be an adaptive learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues with a customer-first oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and at least three years of service/sales experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
- Positive and professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Self-motivated detailed oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new tasks, prioritize and multitask in an environment where the work tempo varies daily
- Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft software, productivity/accounting tools, internet navigation, file management and a basic understanding of internet, email, and computer security.
- Preferred experience in using EDI, sales, and order fulfillment software programs.
- Must have extensive firearms experience and knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Interact professionally with customers when they have questions or concerns
- Assist with order placement and assigning the appropriate shipping method
- Receive inbound phone calls, and email requests using a friendly, helpful approach to provide the customer with information about Talley products
- Utilize various software to receive, process and complete sales orders, invoices, and customer refunds.
- Troubleshoot and recommend appropriate solutions to resolve product issues and customer concerns
- Return missed calls and emails to customers in a timely fashion
- Identify and contact potential new dealers.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints
- Assist in all other departments when needed
