The Project Management department manages all the capital projects for Tallgrass including natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia transportation, and CO2 sequestration.

The selected candidates will work in the Tallgrass Project Management department in Houston, Texas. The intern's main responsibility will be to support the Cost Control Manager on the day-to-day running of a major project. You will become part of the project management team of a project.

Students actively enrolled in an approved bachelor's or master's Civil Engineering program with expected graduation date of December 2024- May 2026.
Experience/Specific Knowledge
Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston, TX office. We will host our Summer 2025 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.

You can expect to
- Assisting in the evaluation of technical bids and proposals, organizing bid tabulations, etc.
- Supporting the creating of charts and reports to Analyze data and cost trends for projects
- Aiding in the development of presentations and reports for upper management
- Assist in preparation of reports and ad Hoc tasks as requested by the Cost Control Manager.
You will learn the basic tasks of running a large capital project and be exposed to the decision-making processes of project engineering.

- Pay Range $26.85-$30.69 USD Hourly
- You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize housing costs
- The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include overtime pay, paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.
