Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design, specification, and analysis of civil systems, including foundations, retaining structures, roadways, bridges, and site utilities
- Assist in project execution, from feasibility studies and front-end engineering design to construction support and commissioning
- Perform structural calculations, material selection, and integrity assessments of civil infrastructure
- Work closely with project managers, field personnel, and vendors to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Participate in site inspections, failure analyses, and implementation of improvements for civil systems
- Prepare engineering deliverables such as design documents, reports, and construction drawing reviews
- Follow prescribed procedures and conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations
- Be prepared to work non-traditional hours as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 0 to 5 years of civil engineering experience (internships or co-ops in construction, infrastructure, or related fields are a plus)
- Familiarity with civil and structural design concepts applied in site development or infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of CAD and civil engineering analysis tools
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments as needed
- Exposure to midstream project work
- Experience with roadway, bridge, or site development projects
- Experience in structural analysis and civil design software
- Root cause analysis or structural integrity experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering and civil design principles
- Ability to work under direct supervision while showing initiative to move toward independent work
- Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, take direction from management, adhere to work schedules, pay attention to detail, and follow established work rules
- Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
