What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Tallmadge Parks & Recreation?
The Tallmadge Parks & Recreation Department is currently seeking candidates for summer camp and before/after care counselors. These positions participate in games, crafts, field trips and other activities with the children while directing the activities and behavior to maintain a safe environment. All summer camp and before/after care counselors are expected to join in the activities and actively engage with the children in the program. Qualified candidates must be 16 years of age or older and enjoy working with children.
Head counselors must be age 17 or over and are required to plan the week's activities and manage the work of the counselors in their asssigned age group.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $12.89 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
