Job Description
As a Kava Bartender at Tallulah, you will be responsible for preparing and serving kava, kratom and THC beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area in our kava bar. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and passionate about alternative wellness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve kava, kratom, and other beverages according to Tallulah’s standards.
- Educate customers about the benefits and effects of kava and kratom.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle cash and card transactions using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for handling products.
- Restock and inventory bar supplies as needed.
- Assist with store duties, such as merchandising and customer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Previous experience in a bar, coffee shop, or retail environment preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Willingness to learn about kava, kratom, and wellness products.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
