Full Job Description
- Greet customers appropriately, warmly and with a passion to educate
- Invite customers in by handing them products and engaging them to experience and learn about the products
- Provide transparent and well-informed knowledge about CBD, Kratom, Kava, and other products
- Gain valuable real-world business and entrepreneurship experience
- Work in an environment oriented around serving each other and helping make people feel better
- Maintain the store through restocking products both at the beginning of the shift and throughout the shift
- Complete daily and weekly tasks in a timely manner as outlined by the management team
- Receive inventory and update the management team when products arrive
- Clean the store throughout the shift
- Be able to stand for an entire shift (REQUIRED)
- Appropriately complete open and closing routines
- Communicate in a timely manner with other team members and the management team
- Have a passion for the hemp, cannabis, and alternative wellness products industry
- Stay current on state regulations and restrictions

QUALITIES OF A RETAIL ASSOCIATE WELLNESS COACH:
- (REQUIRED) 1 year of prior retail/customer service experience
- Knowledge on cannabis, cannabinoids, hemp, terpenes, and how cannabis effects the body
- Ability to learn new things about cannabis and the wellness products we sell
- High School Diploma
- Exhibits passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean, stamina to serve multiple people during a rush, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with (and be able to articulate to customers) what distinguishes the TALLULAH stores from other smoke shops
- Provide consistent, world-class service to every single customer
- Reliable, on time, and ready to work for every shift
- Team leader & team player
- Thoroughly enjoys educating and connecting with customers
- Has a strong desire to make a difference in our community through wellness
- Detailed oriented and committed to always giving their best to our team, store and customers
- Can lift at least 60 pounds, use a ladder and stand an entire shift
- Can perform and understand basic math
- Must be at least 21 years of age (due to tobacco, THC and kratom sales)
- Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong customer service skills
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies and systems
- Other tasks assigned by the manager
