Responsibilities of an Infection Control Nurse:
- Lead the infection control program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Monitor, track, and report infections, providing guidance to staff on infection prevention strategies.
- Conduct regular infection control audits and assessments.
- Develop and implement infection control policies, procedures, and education programs for staff.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care in infection prevention.
Now Hiring: Infection Control Nurse
Qualifications of an Infection Control Nurse:
- Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is preferred, or a willingness to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
