Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for defining business requirements and processes, coordinating projects, improving products and processes, and managing stakeholders. The role will report to the Head of Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Assessment, Modelling & Requirements Gathering:
- Identify, analyze, and document business processes, technical functions, and user requirements.
- Use best practice methodology to enhance business systems and determine the best approaches.
- Analyze current services and customer feedback to identify and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to document and communicate technology project requirements.
- Follow structured project planning frameworks and develop complete end-to-end business requirements.
- Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders to validate and get approvals for requirements.
Compliance and Product/Process Improvement:
- Understand and prioritize customer requirements while ensuring alignment with compliance needs including product rules, legal requirements, and re-engineering opportunities.
- Investigate problems, analyze options, and recommend improvements for services, strategies, and products.
- Identify enhancements in products and processes that increase effectiveness and reduce risk.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor stakeholder relationships, gather and analyze their needs, and ensure alignment from concept to delivery.
- Focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
Testing Support:
- Assist with the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide appropriate documentation in a timely and organized manner.
Mentoring:
- Offer mentoring support to other Business Analysts, Project Managers, and agile team members.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in gathering, developing, and prioritizing business requirements.
- Experience working on compliance-related projects and implementing necessary changes.
- In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), business analysis practices, and business process modelling.
- Solid understanding of documentation standards.
- Significant experience managing stakeholders, both internal and external.
- A team player who works effectively and collaboratively.
- Experience in mentoring other BAs, PMs, and agile team members.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A university degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
