Urgently hiring an Import Clerk for both Air and Ocean Freight.

Job Title : Air & Ocean Import Clerk

Location : Torrance, CA

Pay rate : $24 / hr

Schedule : Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm

DUTIES :

  • General operations such as AES filings, scheduling pick ups, generating and managing paperwork like BOL and updating shipment files.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors on statuses
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE :

  • 2 years of Air Import Operations experience Required; Ocean Import a plus
  • Understanding of load plans, manifests, bill of lading and other documents
  • Understanding of carriers and booking freight
  • MS Office proficient, WMS and inventory control
  • Cargowise or similar experience
