**Job Summary**
We are a local manufacturing company seeking a skilled Deburrer to join our production team in Minden, NV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deburring and polishing machined parts while ensuring precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deburr and polish machined parts using workbenches, compressed air, hand tools, and small power tools.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure accuracy and identify potential problem areas.
- Report deviations or nonconformities to the Assistant Production Manager or Production Manager promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of daily production and complete necessary forms and records as required.
- Move properly deburred parts to the washroom.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of company equipment, tools, and personal work area at all times.
- Follow safety procedures and report any safety-related issues to the Production Manager.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) designated for the job at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with small hand tools.
- A reasonable degree of hand-eye coordination for effective tool utilization.
- Ability to learn part names, numbers, and deburring procedures quickly.
- Dedication to satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
- Understanding of quality importance and commitment to it.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and flexibility.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push a cart weighing up to 600 pounds.
- Capacity to work extended hours in a standing position.
