What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Talmo & Associates?
Location: Cameron Park, CA
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Tues-Thurs, 30 hours per week to start
Pay Range: $20-21hr
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Visiting current customers on your route and making sure they’re fully stocked and happy.
- Building new relationships and bringing new customers on board.
- Helping customers manage their juice inventory (no one likes an empty fridge).
- Making sure stores are using our latest promos and marketing tools.
- Repping the brand like a pro—because we love what we do, and we want others to love it too!
- Boosting sales and brand visibility wherever you go.
- Teaming up with our crew to identify new opportunities and tackle sales projects.
- Jumping in for events and promotions—sometimes in the evenings or on weekends.
- Keeping things organized by logging visits and updates in our sales software.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience (bonus if it’s in food or beverage).
- A people person who’s friendly, confident, and knows how to get things done.
- Self-starter vibes—someone who doesn’t wait around to be told what to do.
- Comfortable working solo and as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical side of the role (yep, there's some lifting).
- Good with tech—able to learn apps and tools for reporting and tracking.
- Flexible schedule (some events pop up outside the 9–5).
- A valid Class C driver’s license and a clean DMV report (MVR will be run).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen (we are a drug-free workplace).
