Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (Maintenance Technician III)
About the Role
In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a Sr. Mechatronics and Robotics Technician you’ll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians and Control support partners.
What You’ll Do
- Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
- Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
- Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
- Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 4 years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
- Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
- Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
- 3 years of work order management.
- Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations such as; routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
- Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Previous vendor management experience.
- Experience with robotic maintenance.
- Experience with CMMS
- Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
