About the Role
As a Quality Manager , you will oversee all aspects of product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Your role will be critical in maintaining high-quality standards, leading the Quality Control team, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain customer trust.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure product quality by overseeing quality control processes and making sure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards
- Manage food safety programs by implementing and maintaining HACCP, GMP, and Foreign Supplier Verification Program FSVP to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain Safe Quality Food SQF certification requirements, conduct internal audits, and drive continuous improvements
- Lead the Quality Control team by managing and mentoring staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to identify and resolve quality issues
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures SOPs to align with best practices, regulatory standards, and company policies
- Work closely with production, procurement, and sales teams to address quality concerns and enhance processes
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, customer complaints, and product deviations through corrective and preventive actions CAPAs
- Maintain accurate compliance records and represent the company during internal and external audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, safety, and overall efficiency
