- Develop and optimize CNC lathe programs for 2-4 axis and 5 axis machines.
- Utilize CAM software to create efficient machining processes.
- Interpret and apply GD&T standards to ensure quality and accuracy in production.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve programming issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on CNC lathe equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and operators on best practices and programming techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically with CNC lathe machines.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in machining.
- Experience with CAM software for programming CNC lathe operations.
- Familiarity with both 2-4 axis and 5 axis CNC lathe setups.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
