CNC Machinist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and will be responsible for producing precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Operate CNC machines including milling machines and lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance, ensuring high-quality output.
• Utilize Mazatrol programming and Fanuc controls for efficient machining processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products using bore gauges and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks for design modifications and improvements.
• Perform maintenance on machinery as needed, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Work with plastics injection molding processes when required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating milling machines, lathes, and electrical discharge machining equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools and their applications in machining tasks.
• Experience with Mazatrol programming is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks for design interpretation is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies in the machining field.
