Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the team in Greenville, South Carolina. They are looking for a highly qualified Electrical Engineer, skilled leader, with hands on technical expertise to manage complex electrical engineering projects.
What you will do
- Lead electrical engineering and design for heavy industrial projects.
- Apply expertise in the National Electrical Code, electrical distribution systems, hazardous area classifications, grounding, and lighting design.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define project scope and coordinate engineering activities.
- Develop, review, and finalize key electrical documentation, including load lists, single-line diagrams, grounding / lighting plans, cable lists, and electrical equipment specifications.
- Work with project schedules to align electrical design activities with other disciplines.
- Review vendor documentation to determine electrical scope and design requirements.
- Conduct site visits to gather field data and work directly with client electrical teams.
