Talon Products is an industry leading manufacturer of side walls for the recreational vehicle industry. Talon employs the latest technology and automation to efficiently produce the highest quality fiberglass panel available.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, optimistic individual with good communication skills to join our maintenance team and fill a technician role on our Day shift. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently, while keeping safety as a top priority. This position requires a flexible schedule, including some on call, and week end work

Responsibilities –
· Perform all work in a safe and organized manner
· Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all production related equipment along with various facility systems and components
· Perform emergency repairs to production equipment ( Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Fluid Systems)
· Understand how multiple manufacturing systems work together as complete production line (on the job training provided)
· Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned to reduce equipment down time
· Monitor operation of machinery and systems in plant, constantly watching for problems or needed interventions
· Perform other duties as required to maintain company property and equipment in clean, orderly and working condition
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and fluid systems
Requirements/Qualifications –
· Capable of learning new systems and concepts
· Experience and understanding of OSHA safety guidelines and proper use of PPE
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Familiar with mechanical, electrical and automated control systems
· Comfortable working under pressure when production and others are counting on a safe and timely repair
· Self-motivated and driven to stay on task and productive without direct supervision
· Strong computer skills with ability to retrieve and input data into various computer systems
· Work and collaborate with others as team members all focused on the same goal
· Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and blueprints
· Use part breakdown drawings for reassembly of complex components
· Follow chemical safety procedures
· Ability to complete required maintenance documentation in both paper and electronic form
· Flexibility to work overtime as required due to breakdowns or scheduled project work
· Able to lift and carry objects weighing twenty-five to fifty pounds
· Comfortable performing work on ladders or boom lift
· Metal fabrication and welding skills a plus
· Fiberglass experience a plus
