Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the quality control and laboratory operations.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Conduct and supervise testing of polyester resins and mechanical properties of fiberglass products.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor lab technicians and quality control staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a quality control or laboratory management role within the fiberglass manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in polyester resin and gelcoat testing inspections.
- Tinius Olsen or Instron Mechanical testing methods and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
