Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading heavy truck dealership. We are seeking skilled Diesel Technicians to join their team in Swedesboro, NJ.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Must be able to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, including diagnostics.
  • Must keep bay area clean and orderly in compliance with company safety policy

  • A Technician Commission Plan that is not capped.

    • Requirements :

  • Positive attitude
  • Must communicate effectively with managerial staff.
  • Must work well individually and as part of a larger team.
  • Will need to have the ability to sit, squat, bend, pull, and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout up to a twelve-hour shift.
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair required.
  • The ability to climb in and out of Class 8 vehicles, Cranes, Garbage trucks, Cement Mixers, and other vocational equipment.
  • 2 years shop experience preferred.
  • Must possess a high school diploma / GED.
  • Vocational or technical certification required.
  • CAT / Cummins / Detroit / Paccar experience / certifications preferred.
  • Required to possess PA semi-annual inspection license.
  • A valid CDL is preferred
