About the Role:
The Electrical Engineering Technician is responsible for developing, testing, and assembly of electrical and controls systems in the manufacturing environment. Regular tasks include electrical schematic development, interpreting wiring diagrams, control panel assembly, and other development of assembly and troubleshooting wiring solutions in the manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be a major contributor for technical efforts on a new process development and updating current products. If you are passionate about controls, are self-motivated, and enjoy collaborative environments, this position is for you. This position reports to the Process Engineering Lead at the Talos La Vergne facility.
In this role, you will…
- Electrical Engineering Technician I
- Assist in installing and checking experimental and operational electrical components according to established procedures and specifications.
- Document daily operation activities and records tools and materials inventory.
- Write job instructions for the assembly team for wiring and controls components.
- Electrical Engineering Technician II
- Develop and administer wiring and controls assembly processes with the manufacturing team.
- Testing of electrical components on products.
- Assist assembly team in assembling electrical and controls components.
- Electrical Engineering Technician III
- Provide guidance and training for assembly team in reading wiring schematics and assembly procedures on components.
- Assemble, test, and modify electrical components according to engineering specifications.
- Diagnose and solve wiring and controls problems or failures and create corrective actions.

- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechatronics/Electrical) and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Have Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, and Autodesk Vault.
- Are able to effectively use Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced cross functional team.
- Are enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of serving a diverse range of users.
- Can speak and write clearly and accurately.
