Description:
Within Enterprise Controllership, the Residuals Department is responsible for processing residuals payments as a result of The client contractual reporting and guild obligations to our talent for all business units across the Enterprise.
This position will be responsible for facilitating residuals payments as a result of client's contractual reporting and guild obligations to our talent, foreign guilds and union pension & health plans.
The position oversees the processing of residuals and communicates any issues to senior management.
Perform the responsibilities necessary to process residuals payments to talent, foreign guilds and union pension & health plans timely, efficiently and in accordance with guild and internal processing requirements.
Investigate, research and resolve potential issues impacting the contractual reporting and guild obligations during the quarterly payment processing
Partner with various business units across the organization and external production partners to expedite and support residuals processing requests
Communicate directly with third party residuals payroll companies; provide support to resolve potential issues
Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers
Be an active team partner by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and suggest improvements
Basic Qualifications:
Degree Preferred or Relevant Years of Experience
Must be comfortable reading and understating contracts and collective bargaining agreements
Must have solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ideal candidate will have entertainment and or residual experience
