We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Program Manager to lead and execute complex, large-scale enterprise projects exceeding $100 million in budget. This individual will be a strategic leader, responsible for driving program success from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and maximizing return on investment. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing multi-faceted projects, leading cross-functional teams, and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and communication strategies.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for multiple, interconnected projects within the program.
- Ensure alignment of program objectives with overall business strategy and priorities.
- Lead program governance and reporting, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
Financial Management:
- Manage program budgets exceeding $100 million, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
- Develop and monitor detailed financial forecasts and reports, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and ROI assessments to evaluate program performance.
- Manage vendor contracts and procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
Project Execution & Delivery:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Establish and maintain clear project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Oversee the implementation of change management processes.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, business partners, and external vendors.
- Communicate program status, risks, and issues effectively to all stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly.
Risk and Quality Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management plans to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
- Establish and enforce quality standards and processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex, enterprise-level programs, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects exceeding $100 million in budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe, Scrum). PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
