Tamalpais Adult School (TAS) is WASC accredited and part of the Tamalpais Union High School District. TAS was established in 1932 and has a strong commitment and dedication to serving adults in Marin County. TAS has two primary programs, English as a Second Language (ESL) and High School Equivalency (HSE), including GED preparation. TAS is growing and is currently accepting applications for Credentialed Teachers and Substitute Teachers. Classes are held in the evenings.
Tamalpais Adult School offers ESL, Career/Home Care Aide, GED Prep and High School Diploma classes for adults 18 years and older. Classes are held Monday-Thursday evening 6-8:30pm.
TAS will consider applications from Credentialed Teachers/Substitutes who enjoy working with adults, primarily English Language Learners in Larkspur. Teachers/Substitutes must hold a valid California Teaching Credential. The hourly rate is $43-$49 per hour plus compensation for prep time.
