Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Supervise maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other automated systems.
- Cleaning floors / remove trash etc
- Fabricate parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising a team.
- Proficient mechanical knowledge, including the ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation within industrial settings.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for effective problem-solving.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with all staff members.
- Experience using CMMS for effective maintenance management.
