JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing technical support to users throughout the facility as well as maintaining systems, hardware, and software applications.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure systems
- Handle user account management and access controls
- Perform basic system maintenance and updates
- Document technical processes and maintain IT inventory
- Respond to IT-related questions and issues and provide timely resolution
- Participate in IT projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds of equipment when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the facility, including manufacturing and warehouse areas
- May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions typical of a manufacturing facility
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to typical plant conditions
- May require occasional work during non-business hours for system maintenance
- Temperature-controlled office environment for majority of work
