Certification Details BLS State of WI license Job Details A Critical Access Hospital needs a Physical Therapist traveler in WI. Wisconsin offers scenic woodlands with breathtaking lakeshore views. The Apostle Islands, one of them being the beautiful Madeline Island is popular for its 8.7-mile looped course which features a combination of flats, curves, straightaways and two hairpin turns. Take a cruise, rent a kayak, or run the gorgeous bay. Visit Bayfield, a 25 min drive, shops, wine tasting, and fine dining. Job Requirements BLS certification required. State of WI license or application in place is required. Must take 8 hours of in-house ortho education prior to ortho patient treatment. Previous EPIC experience would be helpful. One year of experience preferred, previous travel experience is a plus. Schedule Information 8-4 : 30 Mon-Fri, may work weekend morning rotation with compensation if interested. Open 8-12 for inpatient only Sat / Sun - Rotate weekends, about every 7th weekend. Holiday Requirements : Generally closed. Unit Specific Information Department : Physical Therapy (PT) Rehab Aides / PTA's : 4 Rehab aides and 2 PTA. Additional Details of patients treated per day : Outpatient generally 8, Inpatient varies from 5-12. Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Ortho, geriatric, sports, Parkinson's, vestibular, pediatric, lymphedema, wound care. Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient : Acute inpatient and hospital-based outpatient PT clinic. Would be one or the other of above. Scrub Color / Dress Code : Scrubs or casual professional. Department specific orientation : Yes- 4 hour Epic class. 8 hours Relias Education. Orientation to clinic and hospital 1-2 days.
