Job Details
Critical access hospital in northwest Wisconsin is looking for an ER nurse with at least 2 years of experience to complete a 13 week travel assignment.
This is a traveler friendly facility and the area offers a variety of outdoor activities including miles of beautiful hiking trails.
Job Requirements
At least 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
Required Certifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS.
Schedule Information
All 12 hour shifts.
Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend.
Holiday Requirements : Rotating Holidays.
No self scheduling; potential for block scheduling if requested.
Unit Specific Information
Unit / Department specific orientation : Dependent on individual person.
Additional Details
Trauma Level : 4, Not STEMI or Stroke center.
Beds / Trauma Bays : 12 beds and 2 trauma rooms.
Separate Triage area : Yes, preferred travelers be trained to triage.
Average ER visits : 15,500 visits per year, averaging about 40 / day.
Nurse / Patient Ratios : From 11p-8a 2 RNs, add an RN at 8-8 and from 11a-11p.
Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : Always a House Supervisor, not required to take assignment.
Scrub Color / Dress Code : Charcoal / pewter gray scrubs. Any style.
