What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist position at Tamarack Health?
The Licensed Psychologist provides individual and group therapy and provides inpatient and outpatient psychological testing.
Essential Functions :
- Administer and interpret standardized psychological tests and assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning.
- Offer individual, group, or family therapy to address a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Create personalized treatment plans based on assessment results, goals, and the needs of the client, and modify them as necessary.
- Work with other healthcare providers throughout the medical center to complete requested consults and offer recommendations to coordinate care and improve outcomes for clients.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and assessments in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Ensure all psychological practices comply with ethical standards, legal regulations, and professional guidelines set by relevant licensing boards and organizations.
